食評(三)_Baci

I was offered the choice between Orphee and Baci. Bingo! Baci!

Have been hearing so much about this place for so long and finally, paid a visit to it. Dishes tried:

1). Baked eggplant topped with mozzarella : just right as antipasto.

2). Pizza : toppings - spinach, mushroom, italian bacon...and the famous crust....possibly the thinnest and the most crispy offered in town. After all these years of intoxication from Pixxa Hxt, I have acquired, almost in a naive way, the notion that pizza's crust should be as thick and bulky as possible...ALL WRONG!!! Learned about the authentic Italian pizza only in recent years. This crust is not even cracker-like. I had four pieces...gee. It's just impeccable.

3). Penne with salmon and cream sauce: al dente pasta soaked in a delicate pink sauce. Every penne is covered with the sauce inside-and-out...what more can i say?

4.) Warm chocolate tart with ice-cream: always having another stomach for dessert. This one tastes like the soft-heart chocolate cake only flatter. Would like to finish it but just too full to do so...

The decor is neat and simple. A bit small though and therfore can't accomodate a non-smoking area. Gorgoeus manager who looks like Alain Mikili, only taller, slimmer and younger, in shirt and suit with different shades of black...mama mia.
